Check Signal Strength

Weak or unstable signal prevents incoming calls

1
  1. Move to an open area away from obstacles
  2. Avoid basements or lifts that block signal
  3. Toggle Airplane Mode on/off to reset network connection
  4. If you see "No Service", proceed to SIM steps
Toggle Airplane Mode

This resets all network radios quickly

2
  1. Turn Airplane Mode on in Quick Settings or Control Center
  2. Wait 5-10 seconds for it to process
  3. Turn Airplane Mode off
  4. Test incoming calls to see if issue is resolved
Restart Your Phone

A reboot resets the modem and network processes

3
  1. iPhone: Hold Side button → Slide to power off → Wait 10 seconds → Press Side button to power on
  2. Samsung: Hold Power + Volume Down → Select Restart → Wait for phone to boot
  3. Test incoming calls after the phone has fully restarted
  4. Allow at least 30 seconds for full network reconnection
Check Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode

If enabled, calls may be silenced or blocked

4
  1. iPhone: Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb → Turn Off
  2. Samsung: Settings → Notifications → Do Not Disturb → Turn Off
  3. Check if Focus/Do Not Disturb mode is scheduled to turn on automatically
  4. Test receiving a call from a trusted contact
Check Call Forwarding

If call forwarding is on, calls may go to another number

5
  1. iPhone: Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding → Check if enabled
  2. Samsung: Phone App → Settings → Supplementary Services → Call Forwarding
  3. Turn off Call Forwarding if it is active
  4. Make sure you do not have an active call forward rule
Check Blocked Numbers

You may have blocked the caller accidentally

6
  1. iPhone: Settings → Phone → Blocked Contacts
  2. Samsung: Phone App → Settings → Blocked Numbers
  3. Review your blocked list for numbers you did not intend to block
  4. Remove numbers if needed and test receiving calls
Prevention Tips
  • • Keep your carrier settings and operating system updated for optimal call routing
  • • Regularly check your Do Not Disturb and Focus mode settings
  • • Review your blocked contacts list occasionally to avoid accidentally blocking callers
  • • Maintain good SIM card condition and avoid bending or damaging it
  • • Contact your carrier immediately if you suspect account or provisioning issues
